Despite being brought up in riches and wealth, Lindsay Lohan didn't have a normal childhood seeped in parental love, pleasures and happiness, as she was too busy building up her career in showbiz world. In fact she did not even have a regular schooling like other children. Yet she has no regrets. Little Lohan set her sights on her glorious career and worked hard to realize her dreams. She did her schooling in bits and parts amidst shooting schedules and finished most of her studies at home studying through Laurel Springs School.
After appearing in a couple of television movies, "Life-Size" {2000} and "Get a Clue" {2002} Seventeen-year-old Teen sensation, Lindsay Lohan appeared in "Freaky Friday" {2003}, which became a blockbuster hit. She then performed in "Mean Girls" {2004}, "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" {2004}, "Herbie: Fully Loaded" {2005} and for "Just My Luck" {2006}, a beautiful comedy in which she portrays excellently the role of a Manhattan girl whose good fortune suffers a set back and brings bad luck to her. She was reportedly paid $7.5 million for her stunning performance. Her other movies include Robert Altman's "A Prairie Home Companion" {2006} and "Chapter 27" {2007}. She has given a dazzling performance in each movie that she appeared in thus refining her talents and growing in stature as an actress.
Amidst her movies Lindsay, the gifted talented singer rendered soundtrack for "Freaky Friday" singing the closing theme 'Ultimate' and further recorded four songs for the "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen". Her other soundtracks include, "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" {2003}, "That's So Raven" {2004} "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and "A Prairie Home Companion". Lindsay has also released couple of albums "Speak" and "A Little More Personal" in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Lindsay Lohan released her first album titled "Speak" in December of 2004. The album is a blend of pop and rock fusion consisting a heavy bass and an angry club anthem. The album peaked at #4 on Billboard 200. Its video version smacked with explicit erotica reached #1 on MTV's TRL and further earned a nomination for Best Pop Video at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.
