LINDSAY LOHAN the star of the hit movie 'Mean Girls' was arrested in Los Angeles on 24 July under the charges of DUI and possession of cocaine. This is the second time in less than two months that she has been arrested. Many questions are being raised inside the Hollywood fraternity on what made this young bright star who until recently was considered by many as the most glamorous movie star after Marlyn Monroe to end up in deep personal and legal problems.
Many people have already started predicting that this is the beginning of the end of Lindsay Lohan’s career. The young actress had the world at her feet, but now she is risking everything due to her reckless actions. Many of her well wishers and her family want Lindsay to get away from the people she's around in L.A for at least some period of time. Producers are also currently backing off from signing her due to fear of her missing shooting schedules due to her growing personal and legal problems.
If recent reports are to be believed then Lindsay Lohan Lohan has reportedly entered the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol rehab in Sundance, Utah. This is the third time that Lindsay has entered into rehab this year. In January she stayed at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles. Then after a wild Memorial Day weekend that ended in her arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, Lohan did a stint at Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility.
Adding to the whole drama surrounding her personal life, her recent movie 'I Know Who Killed Me' has been a complete disaster. Adding further fuel to to all this has been the report that Lindsay Lohan lifted some Louis Vuitton clothes during a photo shoot for Elle magazine two months ago. The New York Post reported that Lohan kept stuffing Vuitton items in her bag. Elle confirmed the story for "Extra," saying Lohan took hundreds of dollars of stuff. Lohan was being considered as a new face for the luxury brand, but the theft killed any deal, says the Post. In the same May interview with Elle (on newsstands Aug. 14), Lohan said she'd never drive drunk. Two days later, she was arrested for driving under the influence. She was arrested again July 24 for drunken driving and cocaine possession.
All we can hope and pray for is that Lindsay quickly straightens her personal problems and gets back to doing what she does best, acting and singing. Still just 21 years old, Lindsay has got the looks, talent and skills to make it big in the world of showbiz.
